Vincent Lamar Carter goes by Vince carter was born on January 26, 1977 is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns. He is a shooting guard who can also play small forward.
Carter went to the University of North Carolina for two years then declared to enter the NBA draft in 1998. Carter was picked by the Golden State Warriors, who traded him to the Toronto Raptors. A high school McDonald's All-American, Carter went on to star for three years at the University of North Carolina before being selected as the #5 pick in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, who traded him to the Toronto Raptors. Vince won the NBA Rookie of the Year his rookie season, he later shot to show people something special as he won the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest the next season. Carter was traded to New Jersey in 2004 and played along side Jason Kidd , carter and Kidd had a good connection until Kidd was traded to Dallas in 2007 and then Carter was traded to hes hometown Orlando in 2007 , Carter played very good in hes hometown but later was traded to Phoenix in 2010 and he still plays for Phoenix so far.
