The Leafs are on a rebuilding stage which usually takes two seasons to get done . Leafs roster is just full of young players that want to prove that they are good to be in the league. The Leafs have missed the playoffs for six straight seasons that a franchise record. Last season the leafs missed the playoffs with three points and this year it looked like they were going to be in dead last in the East but they went on a run to make the playoffs but their lady luck ended when they lost to Alex the great and the capitals .
